My name is Gail Kamps, and I am the founder of MYE Cosmetics Australia.I arrived in Melbourne in 2005 as an international nursing student and have been registered to practice nursing in Australia for the past 18 years. I am passionately dedicated to combining my academic background and clinical expertise to revolutionize skincare for all.
Over nearly two decades of nursing, I have traversed various domains, from the trenches of surgical wards to the hallowed halls of academia. Amidst this tapestry of experiences, I found myself inexorably drawn to the intricate realm of skin health, where the delicate dance of healing and protection unfolds with every patient encounter.
Through the rigors of managing complex wounds and navigating the delicate balance of skin integrity, I developed a profound appreciation for the significant impact of skincare on overall well-being. However, as a person of color, I faced a persistent challenge in finding skincare solutions tailored to the unique needs of my skin.
This challenge resonated with the struggles of countless individuals worldwide: the quest for skincare solutions attuned to the nuanced needs of diverse complexions. For years, I grappled with the arduous task of sourcing products suitable for my skin's maintenance, often resorting to costly imports from distant shores.
